Outstanding reports have been coming back from our clients, and they would all agree that this is a great bass fishing opportunity. Over the years, thousands of bass over 10 pounds have been caught and released at this great Mexican bass lake. Every year the lake record keeps being challenged by yet another monster Bass! The lake record of 18 pounds 1 ounce was caught in 2000. Throughout the year, many trophies are caught in the 8-14 pound range!
A typical day begins with a knock at the door and a warm greeting along with coffee and orange juice. You are reminded that the bass are waiting! Your breakfast will include coffee, juice, fruit, cereal, eggs and a variety of tasty meats and side dishes.
You will then be driven the short 5 minute drive in vans loaded with your equipment to the water's edge, where you will begin your lunker pursuit. We use comfortable fiberglass boats with casting decks, electronics and trolling motors. Your local guide is there to make your trip a memorable one. This will include putting you on fish, serving your soft drinks, water or beer and assisting you with getting that lunker into the boat. You will fish to about noon and come in for another delicious meal. After lunch you may choose to go right back out or to take a siesta for a period of time. You will then fish to dark or near dark and then back for sensational evening meal. Steaks, seafood, along with a variety of local Mexican dishes provide a great end to the day. After you may enjoy margaritas, beer or soft drinks while you share stories of the day with the other fishermen at the lodge. It is then time for bed as you will get up early the next day for some more great fishing.
El Salto is a beautiful lake rimmed by mountains. It was formed by the damming of the Elota River. All types of bass fishing can be found here. Timber, chunk rock, grass, along with humps and channels provide opportunities for plastics, swim baits, spinner baits, crank baits and top waters. Senko type baits and lizards, especially in shades of watermelon seed, seem especially productive

Lake Mateos
The Fishing
We provide only the finest boats, motors, and equipment. You will enjoy our modern, 16 foot long, custom-built, bass boats. These boats are equipped for either traditional bait casting or fly fishing. Each boat is operated by one of our knowledgeable, English-speaking guides, so you can spend the day catching fish, not looking for them.

Our luxury lodge overlooks the lake and offers terrific views. This modern permanent building offers spacious rooms. Gourmet dining, margarita bar, and many more fine ammenities.

The Renassaince of Lake Mateos is underway. Located about 25 miles east of Culiacan, Lake Mateos is actually not a "new" lake, but it is a reborn fishery that was all but dead in the 1980's and early 1990's when drought conditions and heavy agricultural water use decimated the lake and the bass fishing. The last three years have brought rains that have replenished the lake and brought the lake to near capacity. The fishing is tremendous.
Lake Mateos has been declared a sport fishing only lake by the Mexican Government and it has a "catch and release" policy. This policy means more lunker bass to test your angling prowess. Bring your camera and take plenty of pictures of your catch.
Lake Mateos Lodge handles every detail so you can get a full day of fishing. We provide only the finest boats, motors, and equipment. We assign only two guests per boat. Each boat is operated by one of our knowledgeable, English-speaking guides, so you can spend the day catching fish, not looking for them. You will enjoy our modern, 16 foot long, custom-built, bass boats. These boats are equipped for either traditional bait casting or fly fishing. Each boat is powered by a 55 or 65 hp motor and outfitted with dual gas tanks. These boats have the range so you can enjoy the entire lake without refueling. Each boat is equipped with two ice chests for complementary beverages of your choice.
Our luxury lodge overlooks the lake and offers terrific views. This modern permanent building offers spacious rooms with only two guest per room. Each room has two beds and its own private bath with shower and toilet with fine American fixtures.
Your day at the lake starts with an early morning knock on the door and a glass of fresh orange juice and coffee. Thirty minutes later you will be dining on an all-you-can-eat American Breakfast. Then you and one other guest will fish until lunch in your own boat with an experienced guide.
At lunch time, it's back to the lodge for a wonderful meal which begins with fresh from the oven nachos and a cold margarita. After lunch, it's back to the lake until sundown. Your day ends relaxing with a delicious gourmet dinner on the palapa where you can enjoy the beautiful lake views

Lake Baccarac
The Lake
Lake Baccarac is known throughout the bass fishing world as the best lake for the opportunity to catch a bass over 13 pounds. Double digit bass are plentiful but you have a real opportunity to catch a bass over 13 pounds. Lake Baccarac is a 35,000 acre impoundment on the Sinaloa river about 2 and a half hours away from Los Mochis by motor vehicle.
The Fishing
Baccarac provides a fishery where large numbers of bass can be caught but the real lure of this lake is the opportunity for monster bass. We have a very nice lodge with great food provided. Beer, soft drinks and water are all provided free with your package.

Agua Milpa
The Lake
Lake Agua Milpa is located in Mexican state of Nayarit. It is located 3 and a half hours from Guadalajara, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. It is a river lake about 65 miles in length and covers appx. 31,000 surface acres.
The Fishing
The lake was opened for fishing in 1997. A normal day is 80-100 bass per boat with most in the 2-6 pound range with many in the 7-9 pound range.
Current Rates
A 4 night 3 day of fishing package is $1245. Agua Milpa is a very scenic lake and our lodge provides great views. We have a special package price of 4 nights and 3 days of fishing with 3 in a room and 3 in a boat for $995 per person.
A deposit of 50 percent is required at booking. The deposit is non refundable but may be transferred to another date if necessary
